Pros: Well situated within easy distance of the subway and only a 15 minutes (free shuttle) ride from jfk. i stayed there as i had an early flight and it was very convenient. good continental breakfast provided.
Cons: No negative experience but i tried to pay with a "cash passport" i.e. a pre-loaded credit card and they would not accept it as it did not have my name printed on the card. so bear that in mind.

"The breakfast selection was good, particularly the waffles! the staff were..."

Pros: The breakfast selection was good, particularly the waffles! the staff were helpful and the only problem we had (shower not draining) was fixed the same day. airport transfers were also good and very welcome. the area is very handy for convenience stores and a five-minute walk from the subway.
Cons: Not a particularly nice area, but we didn't feel theatened at any time.
