 "Good but not great"
Having stayed at a number of other Andaz properties this one was not as impressive. The hotel feels like it's being run empty. Free snacks and drinks in the room but no coffee machine in the room was disappointing. Two left footed slippers were an oddity. The gym was closed but the property next door had one to use.It's a beautiful room, great design, loved the toiletries and despite its Wall Street location really easy to get up town.

 "Should be upgraded to a 5 *"
This is a review on behalf of my family. We are a mature couple with a teenager from Spain who stayed in the hotel for four days. First of all I'd say: "I'll be back" as general Mc Arthur said. I do not hesitate in recomending this hotel. It is true that I got an excellent offer when I booked with them, and sometimes when you get a good offer , in other hotels you are treated as a 2nd class customer. This is not the case. We rate the Andaz Wall St personnel with an 'A' due to their kindness and professionality.As soon as we arrived, we were offered an upgraded room, a junior suite, for a small amount. I had already checked the rooms on its website so I considered it was not necessary. "Why not trying for a night? " they asked me. " For a night ?" I replied. At the end they offered me the junior suite as complimentary!!!An incredible suite.While we were checking in, we were also offered a complimentary glass of wine and were also told during certain hours it was usual to have a wine and something, lets say to "nibble".We had booked "B&B", bed and breakfast, so we had breakfast at the restaurant side to side with some businessmen, brokers and so on. The breakfast was amazing. You could help yourself from the buffe with cold food and/or order hot specialities to the waiter. I recommend the benedictine eggs. The staff made us feel very comfortable without any hurries and always with a smile. When we left every morning we saw there was another complimentary breakfast at the lobby which was certainly good.The location was perfect , a walk distance from the NYSE, the charging bull, The World Trade Centre, Seaport pier , subway and so on.Last but not least, I think it is important to say that I'm writing this review from Boston, from another 4* hotel which is ok but has nothing to compare with the Wall. I have already stayed in several 5* hotels and 3* Michelin restaurants. I mean, I know what I'm talking about and that's the reason of my title though in Spain some 5* hotels prefer to have 4* not to pay so many taxes. I was wondering if this was the case with the Andaz Wall St.THANKS !!!
