"Rooms were large and very clean with good views of the empire state..."

Pros: Rooms were large and very clean with good views of the empire state building. bed linen changed every day and the staff were very helpful and pleasant.hotel was in a great location in mid town: central park to the north was walkable and the financial district to the south walkable. metro system very accessable from the hotel 2 min walk. if i ever go back the plaza will be the hotel for me. the 4 bed bedroom was very reasonable for a family which is just a little dearer than a 2 bed room. a+ stay.
Cons: No negatives at all.

Pros: Bed was very comfortable and room was decent!
Cons: The neighborhood is not very safe and scary for young children. in addition the shower is very small.

"The room was clean, quiet"

Pros: The room was clean, quiet. the a/c ran at a uniform clip allowing us to sleep soundly. good central location.
Cons: The service was just okay. the first day there, the maid took all our toiletries and left nothing in their place in our room. after calling, we managed to get them to give us some soap to wash with. the breakfast was just a checklist item and not really very edible or credible as breakfast. the room was smallish and the window was very small. the spring mattress we had was very bouncy and after just a night's sleep, both of us had back issues starting up.

Pros: I was upgraded to a junior suite upon check in, and my room had a stunning view of the empire state building. my room was very quiet and very comfortable.
Cons: Although i prepaid for my room, the hotel charged a $100 security deposit when i checked in. i didn't like that.

Cons: The people staying next door had a domestic dispute ( physical and verbal), i asked reception to come up and it took them over an hour; meanwhile my husband and i were not able to go back to sleep after hearing almost 3 hrs of argueing and fights! and when i called reception the guy was very rude and said that if i was so annoyed by the fight i ahouldve called the police myself! would never stay here again!!!! and wouldn't recommend not even my worst enemy to spend a penny on this hotel

Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful - every member of staff said hello which was nice. breakfast included - just pastries/doughnuts and bagels, juice and tea and coffee - but a real bonus to be included. tea and coffee available 24hours. great view of the empire state building from our room and only a couple of blocks away.
Cons: Only slightly negative thing was the wifi connection was really slow

Pros: We found the staff very happy to help us and the rooms where very clean and well maintained.breakfast was great to get the day started but you had to work your way around every one as the breakfast room was small but clean, ny marathon was on so that bumped up numbers as the hotel was full,still a small point.it was ideal for a stop over right in the middle of manhattan. great for the money
Cons: Although ideal location in the middle of manhattan you have to walk 2 or 3 blocks ether way through a run down area as you come out of the hotel, with some small groups of males on each corner of a busy block of shops. this was a little intimidating at first but no problem what so ever once you got use to it
