I stayed for 2 nights and found the location excellent for my needs, the room was small but adequate, breakfast was fine. My only problem was that there was no hot water in the shower( but there was in the bathroom sink!). I was in a rush the first morning and thought that I might not have let it run long enough so didn't complain( in hindsight I should have) . The second morning same thing happened but again, i was in a rush and leaving so i let it go and did tell the woman at the front desk who seemed genuinely concerned. For the price I paid hot water shouldn't be an issue but it might have been fixed if i had complained the first day. I would stay there again but check the hot water when i arrive.

We enjoyed this hotel. Particularly because of the area. Great for youngsters wanting to party a little, heaps of cool bars, restaurants etc.Only real complaint was the room was to small, in fact tiny! The room had a queen size bed and that was about it. I'm 100kg (not fat but tall) and I could just get around the other side of the bed.Also thought the price was a little high- we paid $200 usd a night. Yes, I would do it again, but probably try and book direct or in more of advance and try and get it cheaper.Happy days and enjoy lower east manhattan!
