Some of New York’s most vibrant neighborhoods are located along the Hudson River. For visitors, discount hotels near the West Side in New York make it easy to discover what is special about each one. Hell’s Kitchen, the Upper West Side, Chelsea, Morningside Heights, SoHo, and TriBeCa are all situated on the West Side of Manhattan Island, separated from the East side by Broadway, Fifth Avenue, and the world famous Central Park. Morningside Heights is home to the Catholic Church of St. John the Divine, an unfinished Gothic style cathedral begun in 1892.
