 "excellent all round!"
First time in New York and the hotel couldn't be better. Hotel was very clean. The location is perfect, right next to grand central station for excellent transport links. Also walking distance to bryant park, times square etc. Also there is a bus stop around the corner which takes you straight to Newark airport. The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were happy to help and very friendly. There was also somewhere to keep our luggage on the day of check out before our flight. Overall an excellent stay and trip, highly recommended!

Only thing that I did not like was the mattress was a bit uncomfortable and the shades on the windows didn't close all the way. Great place to stay otherwise especially for the price.

Pros: Great location. easy access to all the excitement that new york has to offer.
Cons: We found the staff at the hotel very snobbish, especially the front desk staff. valet parking is extremely expensive, considering that you are paying $45 per day and $5.00 each time that you want to use your own vehicle. some of the guests were much warm and friendlier than the staff working at the hotel. the hotel room does not have an ice bucket nor internet services in the lobby, and when we were searching for internet services, the front desk staff member answered very coldly. the room was extremely small. the advertisement was definitely misleading. the reviews that i had read on the internet was very positive, so i had very high expectations when making a reservation.

Cons: Concierge service could have been more helpful. when i decided to leave for the airport earlier, had to walk around the street myself with luggage to hail a taxi.
