"The staff were so helpful"

Pros: The staff were so helpful. we requested to change rooms (my daughter had two doubles but wanted a kingsize) and it was no trouble. the concierges were really helpful with directions to places and helping us with taxis to the airport on the way home. breakfast was plentiful - not your typical english fry up but the food was good with a good range on offer. the rooms were fine - clean, ample room with tvs. i would stay there again.

"The hotel was in a great location and the reason we got such a great rate,..."

Pros: The hotel was in a great location and the reason we got such a great rate, i'm sure, is because of the heavey road construction that shut down the street they were on.
Cons: The freezing temperatures caused a water main to burst, the hotel lost all water pressure in the morning, making it impossible to brush our teeth, shower, or even flush the toilet. the hotel staff did not offer any solutions or offer any repayment. i realize they did not have control over it, but they did not seem concerned about keeping their guests happy and were content to simply say, "there is nothing that we could have done to prevent it."
