"The Best place to stay in Soho, free breakfast, close to subway, $51 USD from JFK, quiet rooms, comfy beds, great staff!"

Stayed here last week, must say that it was the Best value place to stay in lower Manhattan, free cooked hot breakfast from 7am to 10am, free coffee, tea and drinks all day, very quiet rooms, we were adjacent the elevators and had no issue, comfy beds, nice linen and pillows as you like. Great view from top floor, pleasant and 'switched on' (smart) staff that knew about Subway, Buses, Ferry system, where to go, what to see etc, etc. Excellent front desk staff included Marc, Amanda and Michelle and all the other staff that i forgot (sorry), super close to Canal St subway (5 min walk), within walking distance to beautiful Soho, includes cast iron buildings, great fashion district for shoes, sunglasses, clothes, art galleries, awesome coffee places, corner shops (Milk Bars), bottle shops (alcohol), J&R electronics, Century 21, etc. Approx. $51 USD (flat rate including tip) from JFK. 5 mins to Ben Pizza, pretty good Pizza for $35 (18") enough to feed a family and also close to World Trade Centre memorial and new building Freedom Tower. End note; New Yorkers are great people, you can ask anyone for directions and reviews etc, Aussies would love this Hotel, big thumbs up to staff and owners!

Pros: Great staff from before check-in to after check-out. rooftop terrace is big plus.
Cons: Traffic was very heavy during rush hour (it's in front of the holland tunnel entrance) and thus a lot of horns during the week. it's to be expected in nyc though.
