No air conditionaire in the room as it was so hot outside it was impossible to sleep in the room....guy at the reception was really extremely not nice..Room clean, bed comfortable , and the location perfect.

Pros: A good location, i was able to walk to most of the attractions. there were pubs and restaurants close by with good food.my room was clean and comfortable. would stay here again.
Cons: Only thing if i had to choose a small kitchen area or my own bathoom i would choose my own bathroom. new york is an exciting city with hundreds of food options. why would you want to sit in your room?

Pros: The room was bigger than we were expecting from the photos, and included a little kitchen, couch and bed. the room was clean and the bed comfortable. we were on the street front, so we found the black out blind very useful. the staff were welcoming and very helpful and the location is superb - you just step out the door and you're in one of the coolest parts of manhattan!
Cons: The bathroom is the one area that i feel should be improved. the facilities themselves are fine, but it didn't smell particularly clean and there was no soap and towel provided if you're just visiting the toilet. we used one of the towels as a bathmat instead of sharing the one in there which looked rather dirty. we never had to wait to use the bathroom, and we didn't mind the shared nature of the bathroom, it just didn't seem up to the same cleanliness standards as the rest of the hotel.

Pros: Good location - *very* close to the nearest subway stop. good restaurants and nightclubs located within one or two blocks. rooms are small and bathrooms are shared, however i had no issues with access or cleanliness.
Cons: There is no elevator, so if you are staying on the 5th floor (as i was) be prepared for some stair climbing

Pros: A very friendly greeting on arrival. the location was great. next to public transport and around the corner from chelsea market. we walked from the hotel many days, about 40mins to times square and an easy walk to the west village. shared bathroom was fine.

Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. despite its small size, they managed to fit in a tiny kitchen with microwave, kettle and even some crockery available, which could have been useful had we made use of it.
Cons: The size of the room remains the main criticism. we did go for the cheapest option but i don't think this was fairly reflected in the price.

Pros: Great location, right in the middle of west village, chelsea and meat packing district intersects. close to restaurants and about 100ft away from the blue line entrance. we opted for shared bathroom, and it wasn't too bad, didn't have any conflicts, there are several bathrooms, and they remained clean. it was older, tv was older - no lcd flat screen. but relatively decent stay.
