If you want a shoe box this is the place for you. We stayed on the 4th floor. The night club felt like it was in our room until 1:00 am. Followed by the radiator banging every two hours to insure you don't sleep. Then place radiator above and next to your head and add draft from window. Only plan to use the desk in the room if your are a munchkin from Oz. As it is not human size. The bathroom was the best part. Ever sit on a toilet and have a wall 2" from your face. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. No matter what the deal is don't stay here. To add to it, the pillows and bed were the most uncomfortable for me and my colleague.

Cons: Room was tatty and with cobwebs in corners bathroom not very clean and peeling paint .. bars were booked for private functions when we wanted to use them, had a meeting with the director of an international charity at 11.00 am and was told that i could not even order coffee until 12.00 .. no mini bar in room dreadful hotel and would never stay here again

Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful
Cons: Elevators were terrible. extremely slow and not enough for the number of rooms. was waiting 10 minutes to get an elevator, and begging to be allowed to take the stairs up. they wouldn't let me, i guess because of security.

Pros: The staff were very helpful and the terrace was very nice and relaxing.
Cons: The first room i was offered was on a smoking floor. this wasn't suitable because i have asthma. i asked to moved which i was, but the room they provided was on the bottom floor right beside the nightclub. yes this has a lively bar and seems to attract party goers in ny. i asked to be moved one more time and they did so the following day. i slept much better after that. the tv in the room didn't work. the last room did have a bathroom, but the other rooms just had a cupboard where the shower toliet and sink were one on top of the other. no tea or coffee facilities. really basic.

Pros: Within its price range, the hudson offers a "different from others"hotel. it's trendy, with great design. no standard hotel interiors. rooms are small but very convenient and clean. location is perfect.

Pros: I went with my best friend, we both said this hotel is more suited to couples, given the limited bedroom size. however its an awesome hotel and would stay there again, even with a friend! the downstairs lobby is impressive and the bars equally so, if not a little pricey for me. i guess they are priced at a level you would expect for a funky watering hole in the big apple.
Cons: Rooms on the smaller side, however of you are only in your room for sleeping what does it matter?

Pros: Special hotel, extraordinary. very nice restaurant, various bars where you can enjoj yourself every night, interesting lobby, good arhitecture.
Cons: Rooms are a little small.
before departure i lost my fur gloves, but i am sure somedoby stole them. that was very unpleasant!!

Pros: Brilliant location (just off central park), fantastic restuarant and bar, really funky decor and generally a stylish but understated place.
Cons: The rooms are necessarily quite small, but it wouldnt' be a problem for a couple, though i'd not recommend friend sharing unless you're really close!
