Hotel was pretty average and suited us for a 2 night stay. Small rooms, comfy beds, children 'crib' facility avaliable. Breakfast was a joke - mainly cos it was free, lots of people with no manners all grabbing food. Felt that the hotel could have had a bigger facility for breakfast as of the size of the hotel. Breakfast was tea, coffee, juice. Choice of 3 cereals, bagels, donuts and toast, apples and bananas. Not bad. But just a fight to get it!!Location was good - 2 blocks down from maceys & Madison square gardens & Penn St station. Hotel sits between 5th Ave and Broadway. Okay distance to main attractions if ur prepared to walk. One word of warning - take extra cash to pay for additional non stayed taxes this hotel added on, we found this wasn't documented in our booking and ended up paying $50 more a night. Taxes added on were State Tax, Occupany Tax, Government Tax, Javit Tax & Sales Tax. Ridiculous!!

Great location in Koreatown, close to the Empire State Building and Grand Central. Comfortable and quiet room. Breakfast is okay, but it's hard to get a seat at busy times. Airport shuttle is very convenient.

La Quinta was an excellent choice for our stay. The location is very convenient, the closest subway is only a few minutes walk away. Service was very friendly and helpful.The rooms were clean and bug-free. Only cons were painfully slow elevators and very loud airconditionig. Still, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Hotel was in a great location. Only problem I had is that there were only 2 elevators which is also used by the laundry staff so sometimes when it arrived you couldn't. Fit in. There were renovations on the 5 th floor so the stairs were out of use so you had no choice but to use the elevator which sometimes was. 15 minute wait.

An excellently located hotel with a good level of quality and service. Continental breakfast was basic but more than adequate and the staff were very attentive. Would certainly use it again.

Pros: Centrally located, friendly staff, clean rooms. right in the heart of manhattan but not an overly excessive price. close to the subway and practically next door to the empire state building - a great base for a new york holiday.
Cons: I think when offering quotes you should include an estimate of the real total cost including the various charges and taxes - the quoted price is misleading as the final bill can be substantially higher than the one you are quoting (we paid £80 more than theo riginal quote after taxes for a 4 day stay). the fact your quotes do not include charges and taxes should be more prominent. the breakfast room was too small for the size of hotel and sometimes there were long waits for elevators.

Pros: The staff at la quint manhattan were very good. there was an issue with the daily rate when i arrived as well as a problem with the comfort of the bed. they adjusted the rate and moved me to a more comfortable room.
Cons: While the staff were friendly and helpful, i would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends, nor would i stay there again. in the evening the hotel smelled of korean bbq and i was not convinced the rooms were the cleanest in town.
