We received a warm welcome and excellent service throughout our stay. The location was brilliant with Times Square, Central Park and Grand Central Station all easily within walking distance. Our room was not big but perfectly adequate and with more than everything we needed. It was a bonus having the lovely reading room for breakfast and to sit and relax with a cuppa at any time. If we had any comment to make perhaps they could have varied breakfast a little but that said, what we had was fine. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

"Excellent hotel in a great location"
Pros: Excellent hotel in a great location. the fact that it's small is good. i liked the free wi fi, and the lounge with complimentary breakfast, snacks and happy hour. the rooftop is a good place for a drink. also liked the fairly freshly renovated bathroom and the windows that open.
Cons: Rooms are not large, but that's new york hotels for you. i was on the seventh floor and still had a fair bit of noise from the street, so it can be noisy. but again, you're in new york city, not a country estate.
Pros: Friendly staff, well located.
Cons: For the size of room, this was very expensive hotel

Pros: The ambience is beautiful - every room, including the reception and the breakfast lounge had lovely books which you can pull out and read. the free breakfast and complimentary coffee/tee and muffins on the 2nd floor was a great perk.
Cons: I was hoping to get a check in much before the actual check -in time. however, it did not happen - i had to wait till 3 pm to get my room.

Pros: Great location close to grand central for bus drop offs and of course railway - quality rooms - excellent continental breakfast included in room cost as was internet access. great location. relatively quite location. petite single rooms were small but all that was necessary for my stay.
Cons: Bed could have been replaced - had dip in the middle which i told staff about but didn't get any feedback - don't believe it was changed whilst i was there, however i was too tired each night for it to really bother me. air conditioning was a bit noisy, but again too tired to notice.
