"A nice quiet place really close to the subway"

Built in 1882, the newly renovated house combines the best of old and new: high ceilings, large windows, and brick fireplaces will make you feel like you have stepped back in history. MichaelNY is located on Sylvan Terrace, a wonderful cobblestone street which will transport you to a different era, yet only a few steps from the subway stop (trains A & C) leading to the very heart of Downtown Manhattan. This charming property also offers a complimentary English Program, consisting of daily English lessons for both beginners and advanced students, weekly walking tours and dinners, as well as NYC news & orientation.Local taxes (14.75% Total Tax + $3.50 occupancy tax per room per night) are not included in the price.

Pros: Very nice place, clean and tidy. communal kitchen is a nice size which can be used like own home. would recommend.
Cons: Not much restaurants or entertainment available locally but very coose to subway station and a short journey away from downtown ny.
