Agora Gallery is a fine art gallery established in 1984 to promote national and international contemporary artists. It offers gallery exhibits, customized art framing, art competitions, and private art presentations. Special exhibitions are regularly displayed. The gallery has two locations: one in SoHo and one in Chelsea. The SoHo is located at 415 West Broadway and features local art establishments like The Alternative Museum, The New Museum, The Sculptor's Guild and the Painting Center. Chelsea is at 530 West 25th Street, and is located near the Chelsea Museum of Fine Art and the DIA Center for the Arts. Agora Gallery publishing a magazine called ARTisSpectrum Magazine. The magazine has been published bi-yearly by the gallery since 1996. It's a magazine devoted to marketing the artist's philosophy and life, and showcasing and publicizing the work of various artists. It's distributed to collectors and art professionals nationally and internationally.
The gallery also has a special research service that allows visitors to learn more about a specific signed artwork or an individual artist. This research service, called The Agora Gallery Research Service, is a team of professionals who take research requests and assemble a packet full of the requested information. Packets typically include information like an artist biographical sketch, publications histories, condition reports and auction records. Short-term artwork rentals are also available at Agora Gallery for those interested in regularly changing the interior designs of their home or offices with maintenance-free artwork.
