Pros: This was the perfect location to come back to after finishing the new york city marathon. the staff had water out before the race for runners and was more than willing to assist with getting ice or arranging cars.

Cons: During my stay i was eaten alive during the night and i was later to find out that it was bedbugs. when bringing this problem to the attention of the staff, rather than them trying to sort it i was actually threatened to be physically removed from the premises for causing a scene.

Pros: The location was great, and the room was exactly as pictured.
Cons: Wireless was worthless. i could barely check my email the whole time. the air conditioner was noisy and ill effective.

Pros: Good location, clean facilities (bathrooms, etc)
Cons: Noise from the street might bother sensitive sleepers, more hanging hooks for towels (now used cloth hangars)... wifi access to all the rooms - not applicable, only in lobby.

Pros: Location was perfect. not too far from downtown, nice restaurants around the area. quiet cosy hotel, perfect for a short stay in nyc.
Cons: We were a bit early at the hotel on our check-in day and the staff member told us to come back at 3pm in a way that made me feel a bit unwanted. maybe she was tired but she could have made the effort to get us the room earlier. i travel around the world a lot and that's how it usually goes... but this was the only bad thing about the stay. otherwise recommended!

Pros: Eexcellent location on upper west side. two blocks from subway and one from central park. friendly, helpful staff
Cons: Tiny room, even tinier bathroom. clean sheets and towels but room gave impression of age - carpets and bathroom facilities seem worn. thin walls let you hear your neighbours...

Pros: The hotel was perfect for me - and they gave me a free upgrade upon my arrival! the staff was very nice, the room was super clean, the wifi was perfect, and they held my bags free of charge after i checked out until i had to leave for the airport. the neighborhood was great, too. it was in a nice, quiet, residential part of the upper west side so that was very relaxing.

Pros: Purchased at a discount, room was an excellent value. bath recently remodeled, small but fully appointed. standard room a bit small and sparsely furnished, but clean & fairly quiet. excellent location next to amer museum of natural history. helpful staff. wireless internet connection was a bit spotty.
