 "Excellent service, clean, and convenient!"
I wish the subway stops were a bit closer, but that's my only wish! Everything else was awesome. The hotel is in a very safe neighborhood. We stayed in a loft suite, quite cozy and huge. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was so little street noise that we slept very well. We were grateful for the provided breakfast (love the bagels and rugelach!), and housekeeping was wonderful. The front desk staff were so gracious when we asked if they could hold our luggage for a couple hours on the last day, since our flight wasn't till later that afternoon. Highly recommended!

 "A pleasant surprise"
We choose this hotel because of a good deal we got..we weren't expecting much but just wanted somewhere to lay our heads down while visiting friends in manhattan. When we arrived we were amazed at the cleanliness and size of our room we also had a nice view of the manhattan skyline. We were concerned about the trip into manhattan as we were not familiar with the subway even though it was just a short walk away we got the free shuttle car into time square in the morning which was perfect and returned in a taxi for less then 15 dollars. We had a continental breakfast each morning which was lovely and the staff were very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be recommending it to friends.

 "NEW YORK HOLIDAY JUNE 2012"
The Pointe Plaza is an excellent hotel located in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn. A bus stop is conveniently located right on the corner which will take you directly into Brooklyn or you can get off the bus at one of the subway stops. Metrocard is the ideal way of getting around New York and at €29.00 unlimited travel on trains/subways/buses per week you can't go wrong. The nearest subway to the Pointe Plaza is a 10 minute walk down Flushing Ave and you can be in Manhattan in around 10 minutes. The hotel also has courtesy transport leaving daily at 09.30hrs direct to Times Square which is fantastic. Rooms are large and airy and are cleaned daily to a high standard. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and there is complimentary tea/coffee/hor chocolate 24/7 as well as a vending machine selling cold drinks and snacks. Breakfast is a continental type breakfast from 0600hrs until 1000hrs daily. A selection of fresh breads/ pastries, cereals/ yoghurts, fruit juice, tea and coffee are all on the menu. Le Guardia is the closest airport and you can be there in well under 30 minutes depending on traffic. We flew in to Newark and the journey took around 45 minutes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this family friendly hotel and will definitely come back.
