 "It was a great place to stay!!"
Everything was great! The location was amazing it was unreal being a minute away from time square. The service was great unlike everyone else in New York it seemed like they enjoyed their job and greeted us with welcoming smiles!

 "Making money whatever happens"
Due to the hurricane Sandy it wasn't possible getting to New York for 2 days. We were stuck in the airport waiting for a flight to New York. We contacted with the hotel to cancel 2 nights because it was impossible to fly!, and the hotel responded ok, that they gonna cancel the booking for that 2 nights. But when we arrive to the hotel they made us only a minimum "discount" for that 2 nights, we had to pay almost the whole price. The depart day, after the checking-out, we ask for a cab (there were no trains, no subway, nothing to go to the airport). They answer: "our private transport doesn't go, there's no gas in the city, walk to the 6th ave and do it yourselves!", and we had to walk looking for a cab in a city with no gas. Helping the costumers... always.

Just one minute from Times Square. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. I would certainly recommend this hotel and stay in it again on my next trip to Mew York.

 "Stay in Room Mate Grace"
Nice hotel and friendly staff, rooms are clean and beds were very good. Standard rooms were smaller than specified on website (we visited three of them): it is much less than 23 m². No real separation between bedroom and bathroom.There are works outside the hotel and in the building just near the hotel, for one year according to hotel people: there was lot of noise everytime, even night sometimes, this aded to all the trafic in the 45th street.

 "Stay prior to cruise"
We stayed at this hotel 4 nights prior to going on a cruise We enjoyed our stay, but were dissappointed with the pool & spa the pool was not well heated & having to put the heat on ourselves in the sauna & steam room was not a good idea. we have stayed in many hotels with these facilities & they are always heated for you. The sauna took too long to heat up, so we usually got fed up waiting & went out again, perhaps this was the reason that the facilities were not well used.

The rooms were small but typical for NYC. The location was great! The charge for breakfast should be an option- $10 for a bagel and tea (or coffee, cereal, and toast). Cool pool!

Pros: Staff were very helpful and location is great lots good little deli 3 doors down the street. breakfast is good for the money but european gets old after a few days that's why the deli is good so you can take a break.

 "We really used the hotel only to sleep - we didn't have many requirements..."
Pros: We really used the hotel only to sleep - we didn't have many requirements from the hotel, but every person we encountered was helpful and friendly. the hotel was clean and well looked after. i also particularly enjoyed having 2 shower's in the bathroom. the set up was easy with the showers being part of the bathroom, and was very spacious. 2 people could shower at the same time, which helped save time.
