"Wow! could they be any nicer at this hotel"

Pros: Wow! could they be any nicer at this hotel. such friendly and helpful staff!
i've stayed at a handful of hotels in the area, and will say i was very impressed with the court. it is now one of my area favourites based on room size/decor (spacious), noise level (minimal), cleanliness (spotless) and staff (very friendly and helpful). it's a quiet and relatively (16 floors) small hotel, which affords you some privacy. the decor is very modern city chic. i'm glad i took a chance and stayed here. it's a hidden sophisticated gem, that feels like a 4 star.

"I travel a great deal for business"

Pros: I travel a great deal for business. i work with non-profit clients, so i always seek economical but comfortable accommodations. st. giles exceeded my expectations in every way. the professional staff was superior to that with whom i met last week at the 4 seasons in hong kong -- friendly, smart, helpful (lent me a computer mouse without blinking an eye), amusing. the room was very comfortable -- bright, cheerful, nice view of the chrysler building. good desk for those of us who work while in town. bathroom as it should be, with plenty of (quality) basics. the support staff were friendly and invariably helpful.
Cons: Not negative, but in a future stay -- and i will stay again -- i might request a room on a higher floor. 39th and lex can be busy, and a fair amount of honking at all hours. (i was on floor 6)
