 "This hotel is the perfect choice for your stay in NYC"
The Hotel @Times Square is very worth the money. The location is perfect to get around the city without using public transportation. Times Square is only about 3-5 walking minutes away. The rooms don't necessary have a nice view, but in the end you mainly spend the nights there anyways. At time of reservation you might want to mention if you prefer a non-smoking or a smoking room. You rooms are equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable to include free WIFI. In case you don't bring your laptop you find two public computers in the lobby. The usage is for free. The breakfast room can be crowded if you show up later than 8am, but with a little wait you usually find a spot to sit. The choice of the food is limited, but it is enough to start of a day of excitement. The breakfast gets constantly refilled. The staff through out the whole hotel is very friendly and helpful (much friendlier than the one I had last year in a 4star hotel round the corner). I can only recommend this hotel if you go New York City. I for sure will stay there again, whenever I go back to the city which never sleeps.

 "Great location, nice hotel"
We stayed 5 nights in this hotel. It's small with a nice lobby, very friendly and helful staff. Rooms are big enough, quiet and tidy. Fantastic location within walking distance of Times Square, broadway, Rockefeller, Empire state and even Central Park. Free WIFI, coffee-tea and ice machine in the lobby. Nice bar. Basic but good breakfast.

 "Highly recommended"
Great service, great location. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean and quiet and nicely appointed. The hotel looked recently renovated. The location was very convenient to Times Square, the bus lines and the metro. The breakfast had a good variety of foods. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

 "Cheeky middle aged girls hit town"
Good location for a first trip to NYC Shame there was no view, heating was too hot and air con too noisy, smoke alarm failed at 4 a.m. not great but unpredictable. Breakfast OK but repetitive ginormous donuts if you like that sort of thing at 7.30 a.m. Good cereal, juice and bread/psstry selection with cream cheese, eggs, youghurt and friut, mediocre coffee -- Everthhing WAS DISPOSABLE, such a nightmare, longed for a glass or mug to drink from! For the location etc good - don't forget to add about 40$ taxes per dayper room and that the rate you pay will be the exchange rate when you are there. Clean and efficient with good access to wifi and printer for return baording passes.

 "Amazing trip"
I loved my stay at hotel @times sq .the room was very comfortable,breakfast was lovely and the hot chocolate went down a treat.the staff were very helpful and friendly.i will definitely be going back to this hotel,I will also recomend it to my family and friends.the taxi the hotel arranged to take us back to the airport was most comfortable.i cannot praise this hotel enough.it was most enjoyable..

 "careful - good hotel location and reasonable service but you dont pay what you get qouted"
The hotel is in a great location and is clean and the rooms large. The service was just OK, but thats just new yorkers who are generally rude.Booked through east book who quoted £375 at the time of booking but you pay at the hotel and with the changing exchange rate and the takes which are added we ended up paying £471.

 "Great value"
We have been to New York many times and this was our first time to stay at this hotel. We thought the complementary breakfast was great and the availability of tea and coffee all day. The staff where very helpful and friendly, we would not hesitate in staying there again.

 "Lack of service and no natural light in room!"
We stayed for 10 nights and were put in a room with a window that did not let in any light... We were on the 4th floor in a room which was very noisy from other guests. We had quiet a few large groups stay while we were there and when compained about to hotel staff nothing was done. Breakfast was good however, get in early to get a table! Wifi good, location fantastic! Would not stay at again especially with small kids

 "Good value for Manhattan"
Low price and a good location are the calling cards at this hotel. My modest-sized room was clean and in everything was in working order. the furnishings were plain but just fine. Many of the guests seem to smoke in the hallways, which smell strongly of cigarettes on multiple floors. The rooms smelled smoke-free however. It you want luxury or hip/boutique, this isn't it, but if you want a perfectly fine room at a low price for th eneighborhood, The Hotel is a good bet.

 "Holiday in NY before Sandy"
Very good location but very small and dark rooms. The Breakfast was small and each day the same but it was at least there. Also the power of the WLAN could be a little bit better and more stable, but it was at least there.

 "staying in New York with Sandy"
The hotel was ok, considering.The bed was rather small.We moved a nightstand to acces a plug connection ... so much dust! The carpets are old and dusty.The breakfast was good.The elevator broke down and got fixed really quicq.People working at the hotel were eficient and nice.Not much noice.Enough TV so we knew what we had to expect from Sandy.Free internet: good.

 "Good hotel at fair price (for NY NY)"
The hotel is located two blocks from Times Square. The hotel is old but in good condition. Good breakfast as well as Internet is included in the price. Both much appreciated. The rooms are OK and clean. But some of them lack a window, or it is to a very dark back-yard. Ask for a room with window, if you are not too disturbed by sounds from the street.

 "Great Location"
I was worried because I kept reading about the elevator being slow but I didn't have to wait much at all. I kept getting kicked off of the WIFI which was frustrating but it did work some of the time. The room was very nice and clean. The location was fantastic. I arrived 2 hrs prior to check in and they had a room for me. They locked up my bags for me on the last day after check out. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would stay again.

 "A Good Hotel"
It was my first time to NY, had a great experience. The hotel @ time square is a good hotel, near time square, Room size was not big nor super small, good rm size. People at the at the front desk were helpful, they gave us directions on how to get to different places.The only bad thing is the continental breakfast isn't so good. But everything else is pretty good. I do recommend people to stay at this hotel.

 "A really nice hotel with great location"
I stayed with a friend of mine, 2 weeks there. The hotel was as cheap as a good hotel can be in NYC. The room was clean, room service efficient, the air con was working even if it was a bit noisy at night. The only drawbacks were the bad wifi and the view from the room. The window was very filthy and we had not enough light in the room during daylight. Anyway, I thought that compared to many hotels in manhattan with the same range of price, it was pretty decent. I'd go back.

We had bad luck. We arrived at 3 am and the computer had failed. No booking was possible. The desk manager organized a room in another hotel. The costs have been reimbursed in full.

 "I would recommend this hotel"
The location of the hotel is great . The first room we were in (on the 3th floor) had not views at all, the only thing you could see was a wall in front so the room was quite dark. We asked for a change and there was no problem they gave us another room ( 9th floor). I will book again at this hotel next time I go to NY

 "Celebrating 1 year wedding anniversary"
It was a bit difficult to find the Hotel at first, but once found, it was a really nice place to stay at. Was very central to everything,reasonably priced & clean. The rooms are cosy & the staff are nice. Overall, a really nice place to stay at ^_^

the hotel was a great location, clean and fine for what we wanted. the rooms were snug but comfortable, the staff on reception wasn't the friendliest of people...which was a bit of a shame but overall good stay. it was quite a lot of money for the size of room but would recommend just for location.
