"Stay in NY at the Belvedere hotel"

The benfit for the hotel is that it is centrally placed. That is also its disadvantage, in terms of finding nice place to eat. Move away from broadway to 9th avenue. There you can find good restaurants.The beds are short, if you are over 180 you won't fit.beds are good qualityWe liked the free wifi! The hotel is close to subway and walking distance to central park and large musea and the shops on 5th avenua and madison avenue

"trip to ny"

Hotel was nice and had easy access to everything. bathroom was way too small ,air conditioning didn't work well beds were good and clean, overall was a nice stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly. view was not great .

"Great value"

Excellent location. Great value. Had 2 rooms. One renovated one still waiting to be renovated. Renovated room was excellent. Original room was very clean - no complaints - but will be very nice to be renovated as the hotel completes its renovation. Highly recommend the hotel.

"lovely hotel in convenient location"

fab stay, amazing bed, decent gym equipment, very convenient location round the corner from 50th street station and two blocks across from times square, room facilities excellent. I would definitely and have already recommended this hotel to friends!

"Perfect location Staff friendly and genuine"

Located between Times Square and Hells Kitchen proved to be the perfect spot. Rooms were very comfortable, well presented and quiet. My wife utilised the laundry facilities and the post box near the lifts. Concierge were very helpful and gave good advice. Quality restaurants were located next door with friendly staff making us feel very welcome to New York City. We will recommend this hotel highly to our friends and family.

Pros: Location, friendly staff, cleanliness of room.
Cons: Lot of noise from nearby fire station. air conditioner/heater never worked properly and very noisy. kept losing wifi connection. fridge froze everything. coffee machine had to be replaced. bathtub handle fell off. pillows too big and hard, but were replaced. tv channel guide was all wrong.

Pros: Right from my first contact with the hotel staff by telephone they gave me a great impression and my stay did not disappoint - staff were super friendly, helpful, room lovely large, wishes respected, services great - i will stay here again and bring the family next time.
Cons: Not really, the lifts could be a pain when busy. would suggest their business services are better promoted, e.g. phone cards and free boarding pass printing - excellent !!

bed was made daily but the bathrooms did not. out of a 4 night stay the bathroom was cleaned once. did not want to complain because it was christmas.

"Location was perfect for us"

Cons: I will speak for a family of three that i met that had traveled for 26 hours from brazil arrived at 1pm and was told to wait in lobby for 3 hours before they could get into their room. front desk showed no compassion towards this family. i was in the lobby at the time and witnessed this scenario take place

"We arrived one night early and we were able to call ahead and book a room..."

Pros: We arrived one night early and we were able to call ahead and book a room that would allow us to be able to settle in and not have to change rooms. location is nice, about a 5 minute walk into times square. valet was convenient but a little expensive.
Cons: We couldn't get a queen and room had 2 double beds and they were very small, my wife and i slept in separate beds.

"Our reservation was ready at arrival"

Pros: Our reservation was ready at arrival. our room was in perfect state. lifts are slow but further than that...no complains!
Cons: There is the choice to change your towels daily. if you decide not to do it, you leave them hanging(but hooks are very bad and they tend to fall off).towels are changed daily anyway wheteher you choose for it or not. no point of such campain!
