We stayed here during our NY leg of our honeymoon for 12 nights in Feb/Mar 2013. The rooms were large for NYC, and dated but nice. The main issue is the room service and the noise it creates. We were woken at 8am almost every morning by the sound of the carpets being vacuumed or a nearby door being slammed shut. We complained to a manager and he advised the area supervisor would be notified - they reduced the noise for a day and went back to noisely cleaning the hotel very early. The doors being slammed were storage rooms and the hotel staff would let them slam shut, rather than take care in the morning. The room doors should have been sound proof and they were not, this may also have helped. Would not stay here again as my wife was quite upset at being woken early every morning.

Hotel has become our favorite in Manhattan .However, easy book.com mislead me with booking rates. My bill was $90 more than my quoted final rate. Hotel tax was Omitted. I'm not from NYC so would not have known all Appropriate taxes. I will not use easy book again.

excellent friendly hotel. The small buffet breakfast was a nice surprise. Jusy a few pastries but it was welcome as we ate too much at dinner. The only critism is that the doorman(s) were lazy about the bags. Hotel was an excellent location and a definite italian feel to it. We would certainly go there again. We can't say that about all the hotels in NY we have stayed at!

also having to pay $9.99 per day for internet connection is day light robbery this works out at $300 per month outrageous.
