What a wonderful place to stay very unique when you get use to the concept of there not being much natural if any day light . The staff bend over backwards for you to make you feel welcome , we had complimentary drinks at the bar after we returned from our evening out that hadn't been that successful, and during our stay 2 bottles of bubbly (on seperate nights)in our room for our anniversary, The room was clean and the bed really comfy.Reception staff were fantsatic nothing was ever to much trouble and all queries we had they found out, sorted, and delt with it quickly.Girls in the bar were chatty friendly and geuinely interested in your day or evening and good fun .We would stay here again but NYC is a big place with lots of interesting places to stay. But iwould be very temptedI want to name all the staff that were great but if im honest they all were and wouldn't be fair to name indiviuals .go stay there and enjoy it uniqueness

"Great location, very nice rooms - decor was fab and excellent use of space..."
Pros: Great location, very nice rooms - decor was fab and excellent use of space in a typical new york hotel room, where space is limited. lobby decor was sexy and sophisticated.
Cons: my room was directly above the lobby and was noisy from the r&b music blaring in the lobby. staff were unprofessional and barely acknowledged us.

‘Nightlife’, the hotel’s restaurant and lounge, serves dinner and provides room-service. The room-service menu offers signature items for any craving like Calamari with special spicy tomato sauces, a delicious lobster salad, grilled skewers or a nice vegetarian platter (the menu varies).
The restaurant can be accessed via a glass arch, which runs from the hotel’s entrance through the lobby, bar/restaurant, and to the back outside courtyard. Overhead, diners will see attractive Moroccan brass lighting fixtures mounted on the ceiling in a grid pattern. The dining area is surrounded by Venetian-plastered walls, featuring breathtaking canvas-style art from contemporary artists based in Brooklyn. The intimate restaurant consists of 48 seats in the main room as well as 6 seats at the bar and lounge. Outside the restaurant guests will find a secret, surreal hideaway – a courtyard designed out of mirrors and grated pebbles, offering the perfect escape.
