We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. The room was spacious and clean, we had a view to the backyard, which was dark and dirty, but that did not affect us. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did not take the breakfast, which was offered for 15 USD per Person, so I can't rate it.The location of the hotel is perfect - very close to the 5th avenue and only 2 minutes walk away from the Empire State building. A lot of restaurants and cafes are very close to the hotel. The next Subway station is only 5 minutes walk away.We would definitly go there again.

Furniture of rooms were very old.Beds and linnens perfect.Towels as well.Breakfast wonderful.Service very helpful and friendly.

Though it was hotter than normal for NYC in March, how can a hotel of this supposed quality NOT be able to control the temperatures in the rooms? Is this 1912 or 2012 when any hotel of even medium quality has air conditioning AND heating available to the guests all year long. THIS HOTEL DOES NOT and my room was 84degrees the first night and 74 degrees the second, only after complaining an getting a fan put in. For this dis-comfort I paid good dollars and was given courtesy discount of $50 - big deal!

Nice Hotel, friendly staff. Only thing that grossed me out was around the tap in the bathroom, had a bit a green around it.

The hotel has very good serevice and a very friendly employees.The rooms are very clean but a renovation might benecessary, a lot of little things look run-down and lower the good impression.It has a second cooler for own beverages.The internet connection was not fast.

Pros: The vincci avalon hotel in new york is an excellent hotel: clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious room with a stylish arrangement. also, the personnel is very courteous and helpful. i would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Cons: I was mislead with the parking facilities. i had to pay for 2 days and two hours the fare of three days $ 120 which is not fare.

Pros: We had to leave early due to hurricane irene and we were able to get a refund for the night we missed. also - they provided a rollaway bed for my daughter without being asked or charged extra.

Cons: When arriving, the room assigned was small, tired and not clean. after lengthy complaining and threatening to leave, we were assigned a bigger and more comfortable room.
