West 46th Street Apartments New York  

We were very happy with the location.Things that we were not happy with included no face to face customer service, text messages onlyThe actual address was different to web site.Exposed wires and power sockets, no smoke alarm, sheets old but clean, need replacing.Ceiling fan in bathroom not working.On arrival entrance way partially blocked by piles of garbage bags.Unit genuinely needed some attention, cracked dry wall, flakey paint etc.

This is not a hotel. It is an old musty apartment . There is no desk, no services, no elevator.. Very noisy. Not sure why its on a hotel website. Good for someone who want to live like a local. Nice to have a kitchen

Really good location, 5-10 minutes walk to Time Square. The apartment was dirty and it was not nice to be there, we wanted one apartment so we could make some breakfast there but it was to dirty so we decide to go out and eat everyday. Service was really bad,

I personally traveled from Cyprus island which is a 12 hours flight to get there with one of my ballet students and my husband. My student was competing the next day of our arrival in an international ballet competition held in New York and she had to have a good rest. Instead we arrived at the hotel which had no name in the frond and we were trying to understand which of all those building is the hotel, not to mention that we had all the heavy luggage's with us with costumes and everything. I phoned the hotel number and the machine was telling me that it is full of messages and that i should call later. What do we do know? who is going to open the locked frond door and give us keys for our apartment? Anw after waiting outside in cold weather for about 40 minutes some quests came out and gave us a different phone number to call the cleaning lady to open up. And so we did.It took her another 30 minutes to open to us. You can imagine how tired we all were. The space of the apartment is very good, the location is great but everything else is terrible. There is no reception, nobody to contact if you need something. You have to send emails to the owner and wait for him to reply hopefully the next day. The price that we paid for ten days was really high especially with the services that we received.The beddings were dirty and smelly and at the toilet we had a heating boiling hot that opened together with the light and that was really bad, if you know what i mean. The worse is that after payment i asked ( always by email) the owner to send me a receipt with all three of our names cause my student is a very very poor orphanage and very talented ballerina who was suppose to get funding's for the expenses of the trip. We had to show a proof that she stayed there and now after even threatening MR ERAN 6 months later we cannot receive the money for her cause he doesn't even matter about it. Well when humanity is clearly out of the picture i have nothing but nothing good to suggest about this man and his apartments.

They managed to give us the wrong code for the door. And they actually did not know the correct code. We had to wait for the super to come but he did not have keys and were not able to open. We ended up having to guess the code. Most of the light bulbs were broken and we had to call to get them replaced. The balcony door was broken and was not possible to close at all. We had to call the super to fix it and the door ended up being permanently closed and the balcony inaccessible. The internet did not work. Other than that the apartment was spacious and worked out well for us. The location was excellent!

Had booked at the last minute so my expectations were low, but was pleasantly surprised.The room was comfortable, clean, and functional. Nothing too fancy but perfectly adequate for our needs. The location, on 46th between 8th and 9th, is close to tourist stuff and subways but just enough off the tourist track to be pleasant. It was very much like being a Manhattan resident.The furnishings were nice--plenty of towels, nice bedding, etc. There was a small kitchenette so we could reheat leftovers and whatnot. The main bed was comfortable. The living room featured a futon couch/bed and a large chair that folded flat and that a small person could sleep in, which is where my 8-year-old daughter slept.There was a little confusion about getting into the building initially--possibly caused by our being a couple hours earlier than we had originally indicated, but once that was sorted, everything was fine.I would definitely rent here again and recommend it to my relatives who don't need the perks of a hotel. Compared to similarly-priced hotels we've used recently, I liked the apartment.We were on the 4th floor at the back, facing into the courtyard rather than the street, so it was pretty quiet except for Friday evening, when there were more people in the restaurant on the ground floor, but it was happy noise, not annoying noise and didn't last beyond 10:30 or so.

These must be the apartments from hell .They are filthy dirty, all furniture is only fit for the skip, the owner is like the scarlet pimpernel, he avoids you like the plague and makes contact extremly difficult The owner was told not to take money from my credit card as we refused to stay in his accommodation but did so regardles, knowing it would cause a problem to get a refund from him. THIS ACCOMMODATION PROVIDER SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS ALSO EASYTOBOOK SHOULD NOT ADVERTISE HIS ACCOMMODATION ON THEIR WEB SITE

I was unable to set a particular time for check-in, due to being in the area for business so I do appreciate the fact that they were flexible with that. We had problems unlocking the door and struggled with it for about 15 minutes before having to place a call to the landlord for help. We eventually got it open. The place isn't luxurious or nice even, it was simple and clean (which I was extremely thankful for, given that I read many bad reviews on the apartments cleanliness after booking it and was very worried). It was a decent price and place to stay for one night, given the location (right near times square and central park). Because there is no manager around or "front desk", it would be difficult to get any issues resolved or ask questions so I probably wouldn't stay more than a night or two.

After our arrival at the 334 West appartments we couldn't enter. After calling the building manager they sent us about 5 blocks away to a different appartment and were told that there were plumming problems. After staying at 440W appartments for 2 days we got sent to 336 West appartments for the remainder of our stay. After arriving there we found the sheets piled up in a corner and a dirty bathroom (including a #2 in the toilet)After we cleaned it up the place (and they still dare to charge cleaning costs) the appartment was nice. The location was great, 1.5 block from times square and in the middle of restaurant row. There are small supermarkets nearby so you won't have to eat out if you don't want to. The beds and couch/bed were good enough to sleep on and it reminds us most of a student room back in the Netherlands. All and all the communication of the building managers and easy to book has been poor. We left messages and requests to call back, but no word from the manager. The calls we made with easy to book have dissapeared aswell, or the lines were busy.

Pros: Location to time square, broadway (shows), restaurants, subway etc excellent.
Cons: Service from management of this accomodation non existant.on arrival requested to walk several blocks to uplift key, refused, key delivered! had sewage over flow in toilet on 2nd day, a saturday appears management dont work weekeneds. could raise no one on management phone number given to remedy the problem. e-mail resulted in a promise to repair overflowing toilet on the following monday (having to live with and wipe up sewage all weekend)no evidence that any repairs undertaken at all and we were forced to live with the unhygeinic horrible mess for entire 7 day stay. received a ph call from management towards end of stay to ask if everything to our satisfaction. when we complained re sewage, they were unsympathetic and suggested it was our fault for using to much toilet paper!...if you please?. accomodation did not contain all promised facilities eg no toaster etc. bar stools furniture not fit for purpose, unsafe to sit on, falling apart,only good for hanging and drying washing. room not serviced for entire 7 day stay. general cleanliness marginal and room well overdue for refurbishment. front security door not working allowing entry by all and subdrie.i see from my credit card statement that cost of accomodation debited from my credit card at time we made reservation rather than when we commenced or ended our stay?
managers of this complex are really letting down their new york visitors/clients with their "hands off" management style. the cost of their accomodation is such that one could expect a lot better in terms of facilities and service.
one further point....the address we stayed at was next door to the address we booked, not the same building, different street number?. our room looked nothing at all like the enclosed photograph?

Pros: Room is clean when we arrived
Cons: No one cleaned the room and throw out the waste during our 3 days staying. no reception in the building. we had to leave our luggage at 41st street apartment on last day since our fly was late in the evening.
