The Arader Gallery, officially called The W. Graham Arader III Gallery of New York, features displays of the antique maps and atlases, rare books, unique American and European paintings, and old natural history engravings. The gallery also has displays of fine American, English and Continental furniture. There is a section of paintings and prints devoted exclusively to watercolors of the nations most prestigious colleges. Other painting and print displays include topics like: American Masterprints, Botanicals, City Views, Marine Sporting.
Rare books cover a variety of topics. The most common are: American Architecture, Atlases, Botany, History, Literature, Native Americans, Natural history, Ornithology, Travel and Exploration. The gallery also hosts several charity antique shows around the United States every year. These shows feature material of regional and local interest. Visitors interested in participating in these charity auctions, or buying material from these auctions, should contact the gallery to find out the locations. The Arder Gallery offers conservation services on art. These services include surface cleaning, removal of mold and/or milder, repair of tears or abrasions, removal of water stains and de-acidification. They also flatten works of art. Art appraisals for income tax and insurance purposes are also offered, as are framing services for all types of art.
