Oregon (Province) Hotels and Accommodation

Oregon State is in the north west of the United States, on the Pacific coast. It is bordered by Washington, California, Nevada and Idaho. The capital city is Salem and the largest and most populous city is Portland. Oregano covers a huge area of 98,466 square miles and had a population of over 3.7 million residents, according to the 2007 census. Oregon reaches from sea level up to its highest peak, Mount Hood, at 11,239 feet. Its boundaries are defined by the Columbia River and the Snake River. The landscape ranges from the windswept and wild Pacific coastline to the volcanic Cascade Mountains. There is high desert and dense forested areas. Oregon is particularly noted for its massive redwood trees. The mild winters are influenced by the Pacific Ocean with average winter temperatures rarely below 40F (4C).
