George Westinghouse Memorial Bridge Pittsburgh

There are many bridges in the city of Pittsburgh and the location is known as the “city of bridges” because of the numerous overpasses. There are three magnificent rivers that meet in a point in the heart of the town and the many bridges that adorn the rivers have become an important part of the sights of Pittsburgh. The George Westinghouse Memorial Bridge is not only offers a beautiful view, it also serves to teach visitors about Pittsburgh history as well. There are four pylons that feature tributes to various historic figures, most notably George Westinghouse.
