Pros: Hotel was oversold but the staff took care of me and was able to get me worked into their inventory versus walking me to another proerty
Cons: Location of hotel is near the downtown metro which stops late at nights and starts very early...their bell was my wakeup call about 4:45am every day.

Faced with a choice of so many rooms, the most difficult part of your stay will be choosing which one to call home. Houston Amtrak Station is a busy hub taking you to all the points of interest in and around Houston. Theater District is within easy walking distance, as are Minute Maid Park and Toyota Center. This location is not far from Downtown Houston and Buffalo Bayou Park. Nearby George R. Brown Convention Center is a popular venue.

A bar/lounge, an exhibit space and a rooftop terrace are all convenient additions to Hotel ICON Autograph Collection. A dry cleaning/laundry service, a late check-out option and an express check-in/out service all fall under the services provided. Meetings can be held here, in one of the 6 meeting rooms.
