 "All in all pretty good except for the road noise."
The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean with extra pillows and blankets in the draws. The mattresses on the beds were a nice surprise due to how comfortable they were. The in room mini frig and microwave was a nice convenience. The bathroom is a bit tight though for two people to get ready at the same time, but there was a nice sized mirror over the desk area which was of help. Through the night did not hear any of our neighbors through the walls, or the clock tower that goes off every hour and due to the ferry being down for service don’t know if that would have been a noise issue or not. We were woken though through the night by the road noise coming from 1st St. which is a main road and is on the side our room faced. I think if they invested in some better insulated windows it might help to cut down on the noise coming from that road. There are some nice views on that side though, so if noise is not an issue for you, you could chance it. Some of the hotel faces Laurel St. which has less traffic, so that might be a quieter option. The items that stood out for breakfast were the make your own fresh waffles, flavored coffee creamer, and some protein (hard boiled eggs).
