One of the major attractions at the Saigon Water Park in Ho Chi Minh City is the imposingly named “Twister!” This ride consists of two tube slides which spiral around one another. There’s also a more relaxing variety of attractions available, including the Lazy River, a large swimming pool, and a shallow pool for children. The park is well equipped with a virtual army of life guards, allowing parents to breathe easy and focus on relaxing instead of keeping track of the kids.
The park is also well equipped with guarded lockers (provided free of charge, even) and various shops, bars and restaurants. The admission prices for the Saigon Water Park might throw you for a bit of a loop, as they charge based not on age but on height. Admission for a full grown adult of 1.4 meters or taller is just 4 US dollars, 2 dollars for anyone between 0.8 and 1.4, and free admission for anyone shorter than 0.8. The ticket vendors won’t be fooled by someone standing on their knees, though, so don’t even try it. The park’s hours are from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm on Saturday, and extended hours of 8am to 8pm every Sunday.
