Pros: Right in the thick of temple bar, awesome if you want to party.
Cons: The partying in temple bar goes till all hours then the street cleaning happens, we had to sleep with the window open & the noise from the street below kept one of us up all night till she got some ear plugs.

Pros: Excellent location. we had good time in dublin and the overall impression covers for any draw-backs.
Cons: Room was ok, looking a bit shabby though - there was a huge water stain on the ceiling and the bathroom was extremely cold and damp. the whole hotel needs a makeover. the carpets and wallpaper were almost worn out. the bathroom was extremelly damp, there was certainly no phone (the wake-up call was done by someone from the reception personaly) and no restaurant in the hotel either. therefore there was no breakfast even though it was advertised on the web as a part of the room price. my overall impression was that the presentation on website was on a completely different hotel which is located literally next door to this one and is called temple bar hotel. the biggest problem we had was regarding payment though. in the end we have decided to pay cash instead of the credit card and although the bill has been long settled the hotel is still holding our advance money and there is no response from them either to my e-mails nor phone calls.

Pros: The room was relatively clean and the towels were changed most days. the curtains were good and kept out street lighting. the windows worked.
Cons: There was no way of contacting reception from the room in an emergency. (i was on the 4th floor.) the lift smelled - i did not use it.

Pros: Was very pleased with all aspects. i got the impression from the website that it will be very basic and clean at best but was pleasantly suprised by the room and facilities and the location was as good as it can get.

Pros: It was great to have over a week in an always wellcleaned room. we visited a film festival in temple bar region what was very near.
Cons: Temple bar is very loud so please inform guests, that the nights are never quiet. we had asked for a quiet room.
