Good hotel. Very friendly staff. Good Service. Excellent breaktfast. The most points of interest nearby (within walking distance), metro station too.We would come back.

Just returned from a 3 night stay in the River Palace. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was small as expected, but adequate. Excellent choice for breakfast buffet. Happy hour in the hotel bar very night is a bonus, half prices drinks with lots of nibbles. Good way to save money, in an otherwise very expensive city. Great location beside metro, so easy to get to/from airport and can walk to main sites. Negative- Room was so hot on the 1st night we couldn't sleep and couldn't figure out how to turn off the heating.

the reception staff, all spoke excellent English and went out of their way to be kind and extremely helpful, in fact all of the staff were very helpful, including the porter. The service that they provide his top-class. The room it was small, but then I expect all rooms are small in Rome. There is a lack of space and money needs to be earned! The location is excellent. Being but a few yards from the nearest tram and Metro station, both of which will take you into the centre of town. If I were to go back to Rome, and certainly go back to his hotel, and I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Pros: Staff are very helpful and polite. breakfast is excellent. location is great, close to some sites and a two minute walk to the metro. well worth the money our stay was very enjoyable.
Cons: Only the standard room is very small, worth the upgrade though.

Pros: On arrival we were made most welcome and given an upgrade from a classic to a deluxe room for a small extra charge which was well worth it. the staff werefriendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. breakfast was really good, our room was lovely. we were celebrating our ruby wedding and we couldn't have chosen a better hotel. the location was perfect with easy access to all areas of rome and a metro station nearby. top marks all round. we definately recommend this hotel to antone staying in rome and would certainly stay there again.

Pros: Staff was amazing and very helpful, very attentive. i needed help and they were more than willing to come up to my room not once but twice. room was amazing and gorgeous. small but perfect for one person. got there early and they held my luggage and put it in my room for me before i got back. also held my luggage when i was checking out so i could go around the city without bags. very impressed. would definitely stay there again!!!! highly recommended.

Pros: Excellent greeting by staff, very helpful to arrange transport to the airport and tell us about all their ammenities. nice happy hour in the bar and good breakfast.
Cons: The room we had was so tiny, not even room to hardly put your luggage anywhere, although the bathroom was good size.

Cons: We paid extra for a deluxe large room. it was still extremely small. there was no room to move around. the position is a litte far away from all the sites, good for shopping though.

Pros: We found this hotel an excellent choice in every way and convenient to so many tourist attractions. an extensive choice for breakfast was excellent. clean towels & bed clothes daily if required. and the pillows were so very comfortable. excellent all round.

Pros: The river palace hotel was as described,very close to the metro giving you easy access to all the main attractions. very friendly and helpful staff. we had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel and would have no hesitation in staying there on further trips to rome.
