Customer Service Representantive (Customer Care /Reservations)

This role is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands

We are looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative, which is preferably also available for (some) evening and weekend shifts. As a Customer Service Representative you are responsible for the handling of providing excellent Customer Service to our customers. You are an intermediary between our customers and the hotels and help customers in booking hotels, providing information and dealing with general queries regarding their bookings.

Responsibilities

  • Handling of reservations requests
  • Answer e-mails from customers and hotels
  • Answer telephone calls from customers and hotels
  • Assist customers and hotels via our online live person chat
  • Take care of hotel website and amendments of availability, rates and special offers
  • Take care of good contacts with hotels in order to secure up to date information
  • Take care of internal and external contacts
  • Provide resolutions to complaints of customers and hotels


Requirements

  • At least a MBO graduate (MHS is a pre)
  • Excellent communication and administration skills
  • Good level of English and (native /fluent) French and /or German speaker
  • Dutch language skills would be an advantage
  • Experience with internet and the hotel industry / reservations
  • Excellent computer skills (MS office)
  • Very independent, motivated and reliable person
  • Living in Amsterdam or surroundings as evening shifts are required
