These apartments are perfectly located to be within easy walking distance of all sights and amenities. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms well equipped and excellent value for money. I would recommend these apartments to anyone, unless you have a problem ascending steep stairs, though this is common place in Amsterdam.

Theirs a mouse loose about this house and I seen it.The toilet is stinking we bought an air freshener for itTheir was left over fresh food in kitchen and something in the freezer looked like it had been their a while. I've travelled a fair bit and was disappointed with this place it's only the second time I've considered just going somewhere else I would rate this apartment around the 100 euros per night regardless of guest amounts

Funky Chicken is a great value and great location (central) since its a couple of blocks away from Dam Square. The accommodations are average and there are two single beds and two convertible beds in the 1st Floor we stayed. Basic amenities and nothing fancy. Our coordinator Odita was really helpful and great to work with (for check in and out).

The apartment was clean had all the equipment we needed for cooking and smoking the sofa beds were comfier thant the actual beds and the heating was jammed on in the room this effected my sleeping as i was next to radiator aoart from that it waas idea.l staff very helpful

Ive been to amsterdam 10 times in the last 6 years, and stayed in various trypes of accomadation, i stayed at the golden tulip, the Grand Plaza, Hostels, and Apartments.This is by far the best place i have stayed at. It is smoker friendly, and in a great location, central to the whole of amsterdam. i will never stay anywhere else again, Thank you sonia for a wonderful stay!!

Pros: We had a fantastic time in amsterdam for the second year running. it started on the happiest note when we were greeted by duke, one of the owners of the funky chikin. he was most helpful and always willing to help with anything we needed (including going out and buying us a toaster just for our holiday!)
the apartment itself had everything we needed and was clean, comfortable and pleasant to stay in.
it was wonderful to come back from a long days walk round amsterdam and be able to cook and relax at our leisure. it's what holidays are all about!
our stay at the funky chikin has been only a positive one, with very friendly owners who were understanding and always on hand to help with anything.

Pros: We recieved a warm welcome on arrival and were given tips about about the best places to visit and how to get there. the room was lovely, clean and comfortable and warm. we would definitely stay here again.

- personal extremadamente amable y servicial!
- por otro lado la situación es inmejorable, cerquísima de la estación centraal.
la casera-responsable dina nos proveyó de champú, gel... utensilios de cocina, toallas, sábanas, y un bong para nosotros solos!!!! incluso nos permitió dejar las maletas en su apartamento el último día hasta que tuvimos que marchar. un trato inmejorable!
