The Best Western Hotel Meteor Plaza is nestled in the old city area of Prague, near the National Museum and other historic sites. The first references to the Meteor Plaza Best Western Hotel were back in 1307, but unfortunately, the older information was lost in a fire. The Plaza Best Western Hotel Meteor was once called "White Lion" and was used as a retreat for travelers who arrived in the late evening hours without the possiblity to enter through the City Gate, which is now called the Powder Gate, because the City Gate formerly closed daily at dusk.
Rooms at the Best Western Hotel Meteor Plaza feature ensuite bathrooms with a bath tube or shower and toilet, satellite color television with pay channels, air conditioning, safety deposit box, chip card access, direct dial telephone, radio with alarm clock, hair dryer, Internet socket, emergency fire signals and mini bar.
