The building of the hotel traces its root long back to1400. The structure, originally believed to be gothic was bifurcated into two parts in 1538 and the left part underwent renovation, fashioned in late renaissance style. The interiors also saw a change based on classical line. Different types of wagon vaults store the basement and cellars of the hotel. The attic floor of Prague The Black Star Hotel has been built beneath a beautiful gable.
