Dündar Hotel Konya

Pros: Muy buen desayuno, muy variado y personal atento
Contras: Estuvimos en habitación standar, limpia,pero precisa remodelación. nos pareció caro comparando con el resto de hoteles en los que estuvimos en nuesro tour por turquía. la distancia al museo mevlana es bastante, preciso coger taxi

Pros: I was more than pleased with the kind and helpfull staff

Pros: The hotel was clean and the location was good in regard to the sights we wanted to see.
Cons: The hotel is undergoing major renovation which meant there were tarps hung from the lobby ceiling and construction outside all around the doors making it difficult to get in and out. the front desk staff were nice but seemingly incapable of delivering anything they actually promised. we chose this hotel over a less expensive one because we were visiting during a muslim holiday that often sees local restaurants and bars close. we found ourselves unable to get a beer there either although they told us to sit down and wait. never came, shrugs but no apologies. nor could they recommend any restaurants that were open although we found several by walking around extensively - they just told us to eat at their overpriced buffet. and they assured us they could arrange a driver to local attractions but it turned out that meant calling a taxi driver in off the street - something i could have done myself - i do speak turkish. this place has potential but really needs to train its staff out of the small-town lackadaisical shrug and smile approach.
