A. EasyToBook.com is an online hotel reservation agency. We offer over 35.000 carefully selected hotels worldwide with discounts up to 80%. Our reservation service is available for anybody and is FREE to use, we do NOT charge any FEES to our customers, our reservation service is complimentary. Remember that each time you make a reservation via EasyToBook.com you are saving money.

Q. How can EasyToBook.com offer such great discounts on hotel rooms?
A. Because we sell such a high volume of hotel rooms through our website, we have strong buying power with the hotels we work with. We negotiate the best rates we possibly can and we pass those savings on to our customers.

Q. How do I find the best suitable hotel for my stay?
A. There are several ways to find a hotel which suits your needs, please see the list of options below to find out more. If you require any further assistance please

- Find hotels in Search:
To search for a list of hotels that have rooms available for your chosen requirements like city and dates, you can use our 'Find hotels in City' search function which can be found on the home page. You simply select your arrival and departure dates together with the required room types and click on 'Search'. Our search system will check all the hotels and present you with a list of all those that are available based on your requirements.

After your list of hotels is displayed, you can refine your selection via our 'Refine Search' option located on the left hand side and above the displayed hotels in the 'result-list' page.
There are three ways to do this:
- 'Change Search' which allows you to change your selected requirements.
- 'Refine search' which allows you to narrow down your search by choosing specific requirements.
- 'Sort by' which allows you to sort your search results.

Once you have chosen your selected room(s) and hotel on the 'Hotel page', click on the 'Book this hotel' button.

Fill in the reservation form.
Notice that after you have clicked the 'Book this hotel' button, a reservation form will appear. Please complete the marked fields as accurately as possible. When you have finished with the reservation form click on the button 'Confirm your reservation'.

You will receive the reservation confirmation.
On the 'reservation confirmation' page you will find a summary of your reservation. Directly after making this reservation you will receive your confirmation by e-mail.

Q. How do I edit an existing reservation?
A. You will need to contact us directly either by phone or by email. If you wish to make changes to the length of your reservation or to the number or type of rooms which you have reserved you will need to send us an e-mail stating your booking reservation number and explaining exactly what changes you would like to make. Providing the hotel has availability we will then amend the reservation for you and send you an e-mail confirming the new reservation details. If the hotel is not able to fulfill your request we will let you know, suggesting some alternative arrangements for your consideration.
If you wish to reduce the length of your stay, this will be in accordance with the cancellation policy of the hotel.
If you contact us outside our office hours or if the reservation desk of the hotel is closed we will not be able to let you know immediately whether your request can be met. However we will let you know as quickly as possible.

Q. How do I cancel an existing reservation?
A. Before cancelling your reservation please read carefully the cancellation policy which you will find in

After reading the cancellation policy, if you are sure that you would like to proceed with a cancellation please follow the easy steps below:
- Open the reservation confirmation email that was sent to you. Take note of the booking reservation number and password which appear in the 'reservation info' section of the e-mail. You can then either scroll down the email to the section entitled CANCELLATIONS to find a link to the My Booking page or use the link below:

- The link My Booking will take you to the 'My Booking' page. Here you will need to enter your booking reservation number and password and then log into your booking.
- You will then be presented with a page displaying your reservation details. Here you can cancel your reservation by clicking on: 'Cancel the reservation'.
- Once you have chosen to cancel your reservation you will be redirected to a page advising you that "Your reservation has been cancelled".
- When you receive the cancellation e-mail it will look like the original confirmation email but will clearly state "BOOKING CANCELLATION" at the top.

Q. What should I do if I do not receive a cancellation confirmation email?
A. If you do not receive your cancellation confirmation e-mail it is your responsibility to inform EasyToBook.com as soon as possible so that we can check to ensure that your reservation was cancelled correctly. Please be aware that the cancellation of your reservation can not be considered confirmed until you have received this cancellation email.

Q. What will happen if I do not cancel and do not arrive at the hotel?
A. If you do not cancel and do not arrive at the hotel, a non-arrival fee will be charged to your credit card. This is normally equal to the cost of the first night of your stay depending on the policy of the hotel at which you have made your reservation.

When you book your hotel room through EasyToBook.com, the reservation process is fast, straightforward and accurate. However, the customer relationship doesn't end the moment you make a reservation; we provide various means for you to interact with our customer service team, which is available to support all of your after-sales needs.

Q. Do I pay anything to EasyToBook.com?
A. EasyToBook.com is a
complementary service and thus completely free! Your payment is made directly to the hotel at the EasyToBook.com rates provided on our website. EasyToBook.com will make the reservation for you with the hotel and in so doing will pass on your credit card details only to the hotel you have booked with us.

Q. How do I pay for the reservation I made at EasyToBook.com?
A. After selecting a hotel on EasyToBook.com you will be taken through a simple reservation process in which you will be asked to input certain information, including your credit card details. The hotel requires your credit card details to guarantee your reservation. Your credit card will NOT be charged prior to arrival at the hotel. Once at the hotel you can choose to pay by cash (most of the times this option is accepted by the hotel) or with an alternative credit card, only if the hotel accepts this credit card type.

Q. What kind of credit card details must I supply?
A. You will be required to enter the following credit card details on the reservation form: full credit card number, expiration date and the full name of the credit card holder. Some hotels will also request the validation code (CVC) from your credit card.

Q. What exactly does the hotel do with my credit card details?
A. EasyToBook.com sends your credit card details only to the reservation department of the hotel you have booked. The hotel does not charge your credit card, however, they may carry out an electronic pre-authorization to ensure that the credit card is valid and that there are sufficient funds available on your account to cover the cost of the first night accommodation charge. This is the standard room reservation procedure used throughout the world.

Q. Under what circumstances would the hotel actually charge my credit card?
A. On arrival or departure at the reserved hotel (depending on the hotel policy), you are required to arrange the full payment for your accommodation at the rate you booked on EasyToBook.com. The payment to the hotel can be made with credit card or cash. The other circumstances in which your credit card will be charged by the hotel are:
- 1. If you do not cancel your reservation and do not arrive at the hotel.
(In this case the hotel will charge a no-show fee which in most cases is equal to the cost of the first night of your reservation).
- 2. If you cancel your reservation after the cancellation deadline.

- 3. If you make a reservation for a Hot Deal, Advanced booking, Last minute deal or any other kind of special booking in which different conditions and policies are mentioned in the room description and on the reservation screen. In this case the hotel will charge your card for the cost of the first night or for the full amount of the reservation in advance depending on the conditions of the booking. Please note that such special reservations cannot be amended or cancelled.

Q. Is it possible to pay my room with cash instead of paying with a credit card?
A. Yes, usually it is possible to pay cash when you arrive at the hotel, although in a few hotels this might not be an option. However, in order to make a reservation you will be required to provide credit card details which will be used to guarantee your booking.

Q. Which kind of credit cards do hotels accept?
A. Most of the hotels available to book via EasyToBook.com accept all major credit cards. However there are exceptions and this will be stated on the website, where your choice of payment methods will be limited by the type of credit cards that the hotel accepts.

Q. What are Rack Rates?
A. Rack Rates are the rates that a hotel would offer to you if you approached them directly for a reservation. Rack Rates are non-discounted prices.

Q. What are discounted rates?
A. All hotel rooms sold through our website are discounted, which means they are always cheaper than the rack rates. We sell a high volume of hotel rooms through our website, and this means we have strong buying power with the hotels we work with. We negotiate the best rates we possibly can and we pass those savings on to our customers.

Q. Is the rate
per person or
per room?

A. All the rates shown on our website are
per room, and never per person.

Q. Are there any other additional charges or taxes involved?
A. This is dependent upon the hotel at which you make your reservation. Many hotels include tax in their room prices, however some others do not and the tax will therefore be an additional cost which needs to be taken into consideration. It will be stated on the hotel webpage whether the price includes or excludes tax or any other additional charges. Normally city tax is around 5% to 10% of the room rate, dependent upon the city.

Q. Is breakfast included in the rate?
A. This is dependent upon the hotel at which you make your reservation. To find out if breakfast is included in the rate you need to go to the hotel webpage of your chosen hotel. On this page we indicate whether breakfast is included in the room rate or not and where breakfast is not included, we provide you with the cost of breakfast per person and per serving.

Q. Are there any child fees?
A. This is dependent upon the hotel at which you make your reservation. Many hotels allow very young children to stay in their parents’ bed free of charge, however the age requirement differs depending on the policy of the specific hotel. This may be listed on the main information page of the hotel. If you have any questions regarding the child policy of a particular hotel please contact us by phone or e-mail.

Q. Are roll-away beds/cots available?
A. This is dependent upon the hotel at which you make your reservation. Most hotels offer roll-away beds and cots for children, however these may be at a charge and dependent upon availability. This may be listed on the main information page of the hotel. To find out more information on the availability and cost of extra roll-away beds or cots for a certain hotel, please contact us by phone or e-mail.

A. This is dependent upon the hotel at which you make your reservation. For more information regarding minimum age restrictions please contact us by phone or e-mail.

Q. Can I specify room location or any other requests?
A. At EasyToBook.com we try our best to make your stay as perfect as possible and we realize the importance of personal preferences. When making a reservation you can enter any special requests into the 'Remarks' box and these will then be passed on directly to the hotel who will try their best to accommodate your requirements. However, neither ourselves nor the hotel can guarantee that your request will be met.

Q. Can I check-in earlier than the check-in time?
A. This depends on the availability of rooms at your hotel. When we send your reservation through to your chosen hotel, they enter your name into the system, and allocate you a room for your stay. If the room that you are booked into is occupied the night before your stay then it will not be possible for you to have an early check-in. This is because check-out time for the guests before you is normally 11:00, and the housekeeper needs time to clean your room. If the room you have been booked into is not occupied the night before your stay then it may be possible to have an early check-in. It is advisable to request an early check-in when making your reservation using the 'Remarks' box, and then to contact your hotel the night before your stay to see if your request can be accommodated.

Q. Can I check out later than the check-out time?
A. Normally this is not possible because the housekeeper will need to prepare the room for the next guest. If you require a late check-out you can make a request whilst making your reservation using the remarks box. The hotel will then try its best to accommodate your request.

Q. Can I leave my bags at the hotel before check-in?
A. The majority of hotels do allow this. Most hotels have a concierge desk where you can leave your bags before checking-in. In other hotels where there is not a concierge desk, it is sometimes possible to leave your bags behind the reception desk before your checking-in time.
