Pros: The room was large and comfortable, the location was perfect right across the street from the main station.
Cons: Unfortunately, there was more negative than positive with my experience at the royal international. the advertised wireless internet "included in my room rate" doesn't work. not because it was being serviced, just because the signal strength was not strong enough to be access from the rooms. the staff could not have been less helpful, after complaining for 3 days, and being directly lied to by the staff i gave up. my need for internet access then brought me to their computer terminal, which was not working at the time, and staff once again shrugged it off and told me they couldn't do anything. cleaning service is only available during very limited hours (until 2pm), was not even offered fresh towels with having to beg and wait in the lobby 20 mins. the daytime front desk staff were condescending, the nighttime desk staff lacked even basic knowledge of the hotel and the area. the only restaurant recommendation they could provide was the pizza hut in the train station?!?! p.s.- a restaurant named leo's just 1 1/2 blocks to the left of exiting the hotel was great and open late.
i would not stay here again, and would not recommend this hotel, there are many other better choices in leipzig. i found this hotel to stand out, since most in that area have excellent customer service. i only chose to try the royal international on this trip because i required a living room and kitchen, but next time i would rather book 2 rooms elsewhere.

Pros: Although the location is not really attractive, it works. everything about the hotel was excellent. a thoroughly enjoyable experience which i would recommend heartily.
