Apt. Gran Via is a beautifully accommodation with a tasteful mix of modern facilities set in the genuine architecture of 2 amazing central apartments. The property offers 13 private rooms, a kitchen and shower facilities, in an excellent central location and all at great economical rates.
The top apartment has 6 spacious private twin rooms (each with 2 single beds), a fully equipped kitchen and two full bathrooms with tub/showers for all guests to share. There is also a large common room with 2 sofas and dining table. The terrace in this flat also has a dining table and chairs which is great for taking in a little fresh air or and outside meal.
The other apartment, is newly refurbished just as the one in ther third floor and is located just below the other apartment and is nearly identical. This beautiful flat has 7 rooms in total; 4 private twin rooms, 2 double rooms and 1 private double with an en-suite bathroom. The 6 rooms with shared bathrooms, share 3 modern bathrooms and all guests share the fully equipped kitchen and dining gallery.
The property is located in a great neighborhood centrally situated just 10 minutes walking distance from Placa Catalunya, Arc de Triumph, Casa Battlo and just 15 minutes walking distance from La Rambla and La Padrera. Metro and bus stations, internet cafes and phone booths are all just 5 minutes walking distance away. Also a great feature to the location is the small convenience store and the cafe/restaurant downstairs.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no reception area in the apartments. Their office time is from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday to Saturday and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday. It is mandatory that you call Soho Studios when you arrive in Barcelona before you go to the apartment to receive your exact check in time. Late check-in's are subject to be charged a fee.
Payment will be made on arrival in cash (Euros only). Credit cards are not accepted. Apt. GRAN VIA kindly asks you to type your first name and your estimated arrival time to the apartment in the 'Remarks/Request' box when you make the reservation.

Comment peut-on arriver à l'hôtel?
By metro: You can take the purple metro line 2 to 'Tetuan' or to 'Passeig de Gracia', you can also take the yellow metro line 4 to 'Passeig de Gracia' or to 'Urquinaona' and you can also take the red metro line 1 to 'Urquinaona'.
From Barcelona Airport: Take the Aerobus to Placa Catalunya. Then walk up to Pg. de Gracia and from there to Gran Via. Take a right here and walk 4 blocks to the corner of Girona where you will find the apartment.
From Sants train/bus station: Take the green metro line 3 to metro station 'Catalunya'. Then walk up to Pg. de Gracia and from there to Gran Via. Take a right here and walk 4 blocks to the corner of Girona where you will find the apartment.
From 'Estacio del Nord' bus station: Take a taxi to the corner of Gran Via and Girona or take the metro to the 'Urquinaona' stop.

The owner is nice. he has been helpful. the bathrooms and kitchen were very cleaned.Noise from the street. you can't avoid the noise from gran via st, as it is a very busy street, however the balcony door can be more insulated. there was some noise in the apartment, as the doors were quite old (very creaking, big gaps).03 Sep 08

I had a very nice stay at apt gran via, clean rooms everything you need is there. the location is excellent, near placa catalunya. There is no airco, that's the only negative thing i can think about. but there is in every room a ventilator. 30 Jul 08
