Pros: I can't say enough about this great hotel! the front desk staff was always helpful and pleasant. the room was upgraded, but still the same price. the breakfast was varied and included waffles, eggs cooked different ways on different days and breakfast meat as well as other choices. the location was terrific, within easy walking distance of the french quarter, but quiet. a wonderful value for the money. i'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pros: It was withing walking distance of everything we were interested in doing. bourbon street, great restaurants and everything else in the french quarter. also, we were taking a train and it is just up the street from station.

Cons: The parking was horrible you charge 14.00 and parking was 2 blocks down the street, it was very inconvenent, the refrigarator did not get cold enough to keep drinks cool i don't think this will be my choice the next time i'm in la.

 "The front desk staff - they are wonderful"
Pros: The front desk staff - they are wonderful. both night and day staff were exceedingly helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. they really wanted me to enjoy their city, and i did on many of their recommendations. hotel is far enough away from bourbon/canal that one isn't disturbed by the noise, but it's close enough to enjoy anything in the french quarter and surrounding areas. i would absolutely stay here again.

Pros: The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. our wake up call was on time as was the taxi we had asked to have called. the hotel is clean and pleasant and in a very convenient location to the amtrak station, the superdome and the french quarter.
