Hotel Claret Paris  

Good but if you want to sleep well you better find another one. The walls are really thin and you can hear everything. Early in the morning there is a REALLY LOUD phone in the hall that keeps ringing for at least 2 minutes...Every day. Also, if you use the “Do not disturb sign” be aware that they will. For some reason (even though the sign is hanging), they will knock on your door to ask you if you want your towels changed or something.If you still want to stay here, make sure to get breakfast included, it’s worth more than 15euros and you will be full all day. You can choose from a variety of cheese, ham, breads, croissants, cereals, yogurts, have as many eggs as you want, coffee, hot chocolate, tea... Or everything if you want to. This was amazing.The location is EXCELLENT, at 3 minutes walking from the Bercy station and two stations from Pyramides (5 minutes walk to the Louvre). The facilities are nice and new, and you even have a safe inside your room. Bad thing you only have one plug in the whole room. Two particular things from my stay (:-There was one time when me and my wife got around 2AM to the hotel and there was nobody in the reception. We rang the bell and waited for about 15minutes outside but nothing happened. We had to call to the reception and finally someone came to open the door. Inside was a guy waiting for someone to open the door because he wanted to smoke, but when the man in the reception came, he told him to go smoke in his room because he was going to close the doors again and was “busy doing something downstairs”. -Because we were too tired of walking around Paris, me and my wife decided to stay the morning in the hotel and go out in the afternoon. Again, the sign of do not disturb was on the door but still, someone was knocking on it. This time, was not to ask us if we needed towels, but “informing” us that if we wanted the room cleaned it had to be in that moment because she (the woman in charged of the cleaning) was going to another floor and won’t clean any more rooms in ours.Beside that, we had a good stay in Paris.

Cons: Showerhead tended to fall when closing the tab.
