Everest Inn Rome, completely restructured in 2007, offers a friendly welcome giving the maximum attention to details so that guests' holidays become memorable. It will be your home away from home during your stay.The property has a modern and large reception desk and 14 rooms, all with parquet-flooring, offering a modern and harmonious atmosphere. From 7:30 am to 10:30 am, the hotel's rich buffet breakfast including fresh season fruit is served at the “Breakfast Room”, where to start the day in a modern and pleasant way. In the evening you can relax in a comfortable and easeful atmosphere in the hotel's television living room. Avantages: Très bon emplacement près du métro, de la gare termini, du centre historique et nombreux magasins à proximité. chambre moderne bien que petite ; salle de bain bien équipée. personnel serviable et sympathique.
au final, petit hotel tout simple, bien situé pour ceux qui ont envie de découvrir rome à pied et utiliser parfois le métro, bon rapport qualité-prix.
Désavantages: Une odeur de cigarette circule car des personnes fument à côté de l'entrée de l'hôtel.
l'ascenceur est un peu ancien et pas très rassurant : à ce sujet n'oubliez pas à votre arrivée si vous êtes plusieurs d'envoyer une personne à pied sans les bagages à la réception (3ème étage) qui va récupérer la clef de l'ascenseur et reviendra vous chercher avec les bagages !
pour la tv en français il n'y a que france 24 (chaine d'infos internationales).
nous étions avec une personne qui a réservé une chambre simple, vraiment petite il vaut mieux réserver une double standard pour un adulte, un peu plus cher mais nettement plus confortable.

Désavantages: Poussière sous les lits ; machine à boissons du petit déjeuner fonctionnant mal pendant 2 jours ; salle de bains un peu petite pour 4 personnes ; coffre annoncé n'a été fourni que sur ma demande expresse, après 2 jours, et ne fonctionnait pas. il faut avoir mémorisé l'aspect de l'immeuble et sa localisation précise pour le repérer lors de l'arrivée.

Cons: The actual room was tiny and didn't have much room for our bags. the hotel staff seemed completely disinterested in helping with anything. you can't access the lift without a key which is no help when you arrive with your luggage and have to go up six flights of stairs to check in. breakfast was very poor - not much option. the reception and breakfast room stunk of smoke because the staff smoked in the hallway. on our second night we discovered they re-made our double bed with a single sized sheet. not very impressed overall.

Pros: On september, 2009, my friend and i stayed in everest inn rome and right away was impressed by the helpfulness of the staff, especially ivan abalos in the front desk. the rooms are clean. my only complaint is the hotel no longer provide a box of kleenex or tissue paper. this year, i stayed again in this hotel, with my husband, from september 6 to september 10 (2010), and again i was completely satisfied with their service. carlos pame, (who i think is the manager) was very accommodating. i will definitely stay again in this hotel in my future trips to rome, now that i get to know ivan and carlos.

Cons: Often they ran out of coffee at breakfast. you had to get up early or everything was gone. there also wasn't enough seating for everyone. we were also quoted a lower price for our room for the 1st night because there was only 1 person staying but when we checked out they charge us a higher rate.
