Flaminia B&B Rome

Avantages: Bon emplacement à côté du centre, propre et calme. appartement privé, pas de personnel sauf à votre arrivée,nous étions seuls tout le reste du séjour, pour ceux qui aiment être reçu/conseillé par un hôte, il n'y en a pas.
Désavantages: Pas de petit déjeuner le dimanche matin, le bar d'en bas était fermé !!!

Very nice persons, very helpful. There is a shared bathroom, it is very clean.Not possible to have breakfast.But a good price for this staying. It was a good location, not far from the center of Rome.

Pros: The location is excellent, the room is fair enough, and the staff are so kind.
all kind of transportations are available, in addition to the fact the it takes only 1 minutes to reach the gate of the old city.
it is perfect if you are planning to be out most of the day and to use it only for the night.

it is not a b&b as there is no breakfast! and no reception (i only met the nice indian gentelman who handed the keys to me and cleaned the room).
actually it's an appartement with 3 separated rooms; 2 of which have a shared bathroom. (some people might find it positive)
the room doesn't get cleaned daily, actually they clean it before you arrive and when you leave!

Pros: It is perfectly clean and hotel destination is great.
we could find everything at that location.
Cons: There is not name plate. it was difficult to enter the apartment. they should give more info how can we reach hotel personel.

Pros: The position and price were excellent, we were in rome for just 2 days so spent 11 hours a day out exploring, flaminia is perfect for just resting your head at night.

Pros: The apartment is in a very good location with easy access to the main shopping area of rome and the vatican
Cons: The quality of the accommodation was very disappointing, to the extent that i half expected to be liberated by the un half way through our stay! there were wires sticking out of the wall in the hallway, which were held together by cellotape!! not even electrician's tape, but cellotape. the "kitchen" is hardly likely to be used for a forthcoming episode of the "f-word" on the basis that the tempreture in there was around -30c, which is probably attributable to the fact that the "windows" were pieces of perspect, which were cracked and held together by - you guessed it - cellotape!!

please let me now describe the bedrooms. i stayed in the twin room, which we loving dubbed the "chicken coup". this was on the basis that my feather quilt (sounds nice doesn't it?) shedded so many feathers during the night that when i woke up i thought i was a pigeon! if you have ever experienced trying to sleep whilst being pricked by 1000 feathers, please take my advice and don't bother, it is extremely unpleasant.

the bathroom was the best feature (despite the fact that more water came out of the wall than the shower head) and was on the whole fine.

however, overall the service was shambolic, and the quality of the accommodation on a par with your average venezuelan jail.

p.s. i didn't like the hotel.

Pros: Very clean rooms, close to metro, cafe, banks, and other restaurants and shops close by
Cons: Not able to contact staff if any problems! they don't take credit card must pay cash first and up front before being able to stay in room. can be noisy in morning time

Pros: Well situated, short distance to piazza el popolo. quiet, clean, comfortable.
Cons: It would be handy if there were some plates and knifes in the kitchenette

Pros: Good location, close to major sights, market nearby, clean, big enough for family of 5, quiet neighborhood, air conditioning was great because of the 30+ heat wave!...no complaints.

Pros: Very close to major tourist attractions
Cons: The air conditioner dripped water, so we could not use it.
the bunk bed for the children was not correctly assembled.

Cons: Some poorly washed dishes and no dishwashing liquid, suspiciously looking tea kettle. otherwise very nice and clean

Pros: Nicely situated in good location - not in the centre - but all of the sights accessible within 15 mins walk. close to tube and buses. good places to eat locally
Cons: The term apartment did not lead me to expect there would be no kitchen - only a fridge and a few cups. also i was not expecting to have to pay cash when i arrived. it would helpful if the instructions included the flat number.

Cons: Tv could have been in the dining area not the bedroo so all guests could atch in comfort.
