Senior Application Designer UX/UI GURU

This role is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Application Designer UX/UI's have a passion for creating beautiful user interfaces with CSS, Photoshop, HTML and solve complex interaction problems and they are focused to instill delight in the EasyToBook.com application user.

Application Designers work on many projects that carry concepts to finish products. Here are just some examples of the diverse projects with which you might be involved.

Responsibilities

• Elegantly design concepts to web relevant applications
• Implement page designs in standards-compliant XHTML and CSS
• Work on development and completion of site redesign projects
• Develop the existing products of EasyToBook.com further, including application maintenance
• Advocate web interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability
• Create rapid prototypes of interfaces to be used as a blueprint for technical development
• Manage overall visual design for the applications including branding and navigational elements
• Deliver high quality applications with an eye for beauty and detail
• Work with the SCRUM team, sharing knowledge and documenting relevant information

Requirements

• 5+ years of user interface development with HTML, CSS
• Bachelors degree in a related field
• Strong Photoshop skills
• Understanding of cross-browser and platform compatibility
• Master CSS, HTML, UI Libraries & Frameworks
• Basic working knowledge of server side scripting, PHP is a plus
• Experience working with JavaScript, Ajax
• Experience with SEO
• High regard to quality and precision
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
• Experience working in an agile environment is a plus
