Description
The Hotel Red Lion II Prague stands in the heart of the historical center of the Prague city. The popular Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle are located in close proximity to the hotel. The entrance to the inside of the hotel, such as the ground floor up to the first floor, are built with baroque vaults which dates back to the mid of the 17th century. The courtyard galleries are built in the classicism style. By the end of the 18th century, the third floor and the attic of the Prague Red Lion II Hotel was almost completed.
The Red Lion II Hotel Prague underwent some reconstruction in the year 1907, but it has been recently restructured in 2001. The facilities and amenities of the hotel are very modern and pleasing. The hotel supports an elevator for the convenience of the guests.

The hotel has a picture in the front façade, which is rich in architectural details. Ignac Smrkovsky bought the house from Anna Marie Ublova in 1695. In the contract there was the mention of a house treasure. But there has been no discovery as such. From the renaissance times, some part of the cellar walls of the Hotel Red Lion II Prague has been properly preserved.
