The hotel is situated at a very good location, near the beach and it is vey well connected to the city as well via metro. The hotel staff is very good at behavior and supportive. The Uses of the TV and internet in the room is little expensive though, so better to avoid it. Overall a very good experience.

Although the hotel was very good. I was not happy that price had, I do appreciate it was government tax. However, I feel that hotel should have let me know instead I was told when I arrived. Not very impressed with their attitued and because of that would not recommned to anyone.

Our very first experience was bad. We had booked one room through a website and we phoned the hotel to ensure that we could get a second room.Despite the fact that I was phoning on international rates I was left on hold for 7 minutes before I was told, rudely, to phone back. I had to phone back twice(!) and each time I was treated even more rudely and told that she didn't have time to deal with me. Fortunately, I booked the second room on line because the next communication I had was on the morning of our arrival when I got an e mail to say that a second room was not available. Luckily for me I had my booking confirmation number.The hotel is very stylish and well designed. When we arrived we were told one room would be ready for us in 40 minutes as we were too early, which we were. However, we were kept waiting for well over an hour.Our room card was faulty and despite the fact that we reported this numerous times every day it was not fixed for 4/5 days! This meant going up and down to/from the 4th floor/reception every time we wanted to access our roomThe restaurant was closed for the month of August. We were told that we could get coffee, toast etc in the bar. But on 2 mornings we left having sat for more than 10 minutes without any staff appearing.The hall porter was vey pleasant and helpful and I think he was embarrassed at the treatment we got. Of course he didn't say anything. I'd say out of loyalty to his colleagues.

Near center, good rooms, they schould include breakfast in the roomrate!!I traveled with my son (11), and the hotel was near the beach and metro!À late check out was not possible, because they needed the room, but what hotel is fully booked on sundays??? They needed the room was the answer. Other than that, good hotel.

Pros: The staff is extremely helpful and multi-lingual. easy access to the metro and tram. nice mall a block away. about 20 minutes from main areas of interest. hotel is clean and attractive.
Cons: The beds are very hard. the ac in the room was about 78-80 degrees period. the internet is very slow and expensive. next time will try to be closer to main sites and go for more comfortable beds.

Cons: The selva de mar metro station convenient to the hotel is a dangerous place for older travelers--and probably younger ones too. i was attacked by three young men while exiting but was not injured and retained my money. the following day a young spaniard woman was attacked, slugged and her purse taken at the same location. while i liked the hotel, i will not book in that area again nor at the hilton or princess which are in the same area.

Cons: Beds are very uncomfortable woke up every morning with back pain, staff very rude and unhelpful we were lied to on check in as to the availibility of the type of room we had booked but once we insisted that we would only accept that type of room, we were given a key to that type of room even though there were none available 3min before. breakfast is extremely overpriced, room was fairly clean but there were noticeable areas which had not been cleaned. rooms are said to be sound proofed in the hotel information booklet yet it was probably the nosiest room i have stayed in anywhere, you could hear every noise in the hall and other rooms.

Pros: The room was very clean,well designed,completely quite and very comfortable for long time stay.the location is very good because it's near to beach, a big shopping center( with fantastic restaurants)and metro station.the staffs were kind & freindly.

Pros: Very nice location for the conference centre quite industrial at themoment lots of building going on.
Cons: Not somewhere to take the family. quite a trek into barcelona and las ramblas good bus service though. beach is across a number of very busy roads.

Pros: The hotel, staff and rooms were very good and overall great value. offered all the facilities required very comfortable.
Cons: For business travellers the price of wifi was very very strong at 25euros per day 5 euros per hour!

Pros: I found the location wonderful in terms of where i needed to be - close to the beaches, close to the diagonal de mar shopping district and only 5 minutes walk to the metro which can have you in the city centre within 10 minutes.

Pros: We arrived at the hotel at 10.30am, considering normal check in is from 3.00pm we were prepared to wait for a room, but they managed to allocate a room for us straight away. the reception staff were very helpful and spoke very good english. the room was very good, with a large comfortable bed. the hotel is within a few minutes walk of a very large shopping complex with a variety of restaurants, with menues of the day being excelent value. a few minutes walk through some gardens next to the hotel and you are on the beach. also just across the road from the hotel is the metro with access to the city centre.
