Hotel Alex Venice  

good quality for that price, friendly & helpful staff, nice tripleroom with stylish furniture, typish italian breakfast.

I stayed in this Hotel for 2 nights with wife and 2 children there were 2 things that were good one was excellent.The location was excellent, the bed was good.The room was not dirty but average. The floor tiles were quite loose and made a noise when walking on.The Shower was small and getting in was just about possible, there was good hot water, I got wet and clean and was just about able to get out.The owner smoked in the evening and the smell came to my room and made me want to vomit. I was concerned about eating my breakfast where the smoke had been and lingered. The food was edible. There was no soap in bathrooms or shower.The owner was very pleasant and spoke excellent English. The supermarket was in from of the hotel.The price was very high for the service provided, I would not go back or be able to recommend the hotel. The potential for transformation is incredible due to location and size.

Pros: Hotel alex was a perfect find for me! it was priced extremly reasonably, had great breakfast, and a nice staff. the two different rooms i stayed in were quite large, and had a nice sized closet too.
Cons: Since it is an old building, it was very cold in there (i stayed in january), and if people showered in a row, there would be no hot water.

Pros: It can be easily located from main station(st lucia station),friendly staff,very good breakfast,comfortable rooms
