Pros: Very clean good buffet breakfast. great location, wonderful to have tea and coffee facility in room
Cons: What a grumpy receptionist! however it was only one of the staff. room a little cramped because a big bed has been put in where there was probably just a double.

Pros: Front desk staff was helpful. location was very convenient to a major transportation hub with both metro and surface trams, and a number of eateries including a nice bakery.

Pros: Very good location regarding public transport, airport bus shuttle. super location at down town. super nice and friendly staff,sufficient and tasty breakfast. nice that breakfast is at the hotel price included.
Cons: Small elevator, but this is not the problem of the dr.geissler.

Pros: Staff knowledgeable and happy to help. breakfast and room very good. tasty generous breakfast. room with nice view of historic buildings. good light and quiet except for vehicles on cobbles! close to everything in historic centre and to subway. elevator.
Cons: Some noise from vehicles on cobbles but fine when windows were closed.

The family-run pension Dr. Geissler is located in the very heart of Vienna, between the Stephansdom and the Franz-Josefs-Kai, offering excellent connections to the public transportation system. The city centre, with its numerous sights, can be visited on foot or by bike, which can be rented at the hotel. The corner house, completely destroyed during the World War II and reconstructed in 1962, spreads now on three floors. The reception is situated on the 8th floor, from where you have a wonderful view over the city. Even though staying in the city centre, this property is situated on a quiet street and assures its guests a relaxing stay and reinvigorating nights. Furthermore, the near Internet point can be a good alternative to the city tour.
