It would have been helpful if the assistant mentioned that breakfast is available at a reasonable price even though we had booked without it.Otherwise it was OK for several days especially for the price paid.

Venice is an expensive city and this hotel isn't too pricey. The hotel had a hostel feel to it. There are no private bathrooms and the rooms are very plain. It is well located not too far from the train station which is also where one of the biggest water taxi stops is located. Be prepared to carry your bags up lots of stairs.

Pros: The general impression was very good for a cheap hotel. it is clean and nice, with very good location. all equipment worked ok. there was no problem to arrive late at night, to come and leave any time.
Cons: Only minor things, e.g. a key from the outer door worked with some problems; there was no soap in the bathrooms, so we should buy it.

Pros: Location is good if you travel to venice by train. just a few minutes' walk and not difficult to find.
Cons: The receiptionist made a mistake when i checked in. i booked the double room with bathroom at 70 euro, but she told me she could give me one for 80 euro, otherwise i have to go to another building with external bathroom. i was confused, but fortunately, finally i did stayed in the double room with the price i booked.

Pros: Very nice owners and friendly!
Cons: We should have a telephone in the room in case we need to make a phone call and even to use the international calling card; there is only a public one in the hall, and one may feel unconfortable to speak private things in public!
